About the Role

Proclinical is seeking a Clinical Research Scientist/Coordinator to contribute to the design, execution, and oversight of global clinical studies, primarily focusing on low-complexity trials. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that study deliverables are met while maintaining high scientific and operational standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical research, particularly in oncology or hematology, along with excellent leadership and problem-solving skills. Please note that only applications matching the job profile will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or support the development of clinical protocols, amendments, and related study documents in collaboration with the Medical Lead and other teams.
  • Provide medical and scientific input for study-related processes and regulatory documents.
  • Contribute to study concept feasibility assessments and operational execution plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and select high-performing sites to meet recruitment goals.
  • Lead or support global cross-functional Clinical Trial Teams (CTTs) to ensure timely delivery of trial objectives.
  • Conduct ongoing medical-scientific reviews of clinical trial data, including safety trend analysis, signal detection, and data interpretation.
  • Prepare and lead dose escalation meetings and coordinate real-time availability of quality clinical trial data.
  • Proactively manage risk mitigation and implementation strategies at the trial level.
  • Forecast and manage study budgets in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Set vendor strategies and timelines for assigned studies.
  • Implement best practices and standards for trial management, sharing lessons learned across teams.
  • Represent the group in cross-functional initiatives and act as a Subject Matter Expert when required.

Key Skills and Requirements

  • Degree in life sciences or healthcare (advanced degree preferred, e.g., PhD, MD, PharmD, or Master's).
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial methodology, particularly in early clinical development.
  • Knowledge of oncology/hematology is highly desirable.
  • Experience in clinical trials or development, with a proven ability to manage multiple studies simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in operational project management, including planning, prioritization, and problem-solving.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to foster collaboration and inspire teams.
  • High learning agility and adaptability to dynamic environments.
  • Familiarity with ICH-GCP guidelines, external regulations, and clinical finance principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
