Clinical Research Associate - Contract - Orlando or Tampa, USA

Are you ready to lead cutting-edge research projects that accelerate clinical breakthroughs in biotech? Proclinical is seeking a Clinical Research Associate to support a surgical imaging device study nearing closeout.

Primary Responsibilities

This role involves a mix of onsite and remote monitoring, with most site visits concentrated in Florida (Orlando and Tampa). Additional studies, including potential pediatric sites in Philadelphia and Jacksonville, are expected to open next year. The focus will be on data cleaning and ensuring the study wraps up successfully by year-end. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced CRAs looking for long-term growth, as the sponsor aims to transition CRAs in-house over time.

Skills & Requirements

• Proven experience in clinical monitoring, preferably within medical device studies.
• Strong understanding of GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel, primarily within Florida, with occasional trips to other locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite monitoring visits approximately 6-10 days per month, equating to 20-25 hours per week at sites.
• Oversee study progress, ensuring compliance with protocols, regulatory requirements, and data quality standards.
• Perform data cleaning and assist in preparing the study for closeout.
• Collaborate with site staff to address queries and resolve issues promptly.
• Support the opening of new study sites, including potential pediatric locations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of monitoring activities.

Compensation

$80 to $87 per hour.
