Internal Title: Senior Associate, Clinical Data Strategy

As a Senior Associate in Clinical Data Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in implementing high-quality data strategy planning within clinical programs. This position supports downstream clinical assessment identification and selection, enhances data collection consistency, and facilitates robust decision-making across the Translational Medicine portfolio. You will contribute to the development and execution of Data Strategy Plans to ensure alignment of data collection with scientific and operational objectives.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and support end-to-end data strategy activities at the trial and program level, including the development of Data Strategy Plans for early data planning and risk assessment.
• Provide oversight of downstream data through subject matter guidance concerning data visualization and exploration, ensuring high-quality outputs that support clinical trial teams and enable data-driven decision-making.
• Contribute to early data strategy landscaping at the indication and focus area level by utilizing internal and external data sources to identify trends, insights, and opportunities that inform trial design.
• Advise on the selection, implementation, risk assessment, and oversight of appropriate clinical assessments for assigned clinical trials, particularly in the Neuroscience Therapeutic Area.

Essential Requirements:

• Several years of experience in the pharmaceutical, CRO, hospital, or healthcare setting with a strong foundation in clinical trial planning and data collection.
• Robust knowledge and management of COAs/PROs specific to Neuroscience trials and patient populations.
• Familiarity with drug development processes and regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively and work adaptably in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Expected Annual Base Salary Range for Role:
CHF 93,800.00 - CHF 174,200.00 Annual

The base salary is determined based on objective criteria, including relevant skills, competencies, and experience. It will be reviewed periodically upon joining Novartis.

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on specific performance metrics.
