We are seeking a dynamic Client Service Director to enhance our Geneva office and strengthen our expertise in Innovation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone committed to delivering excellence to our key international and local clients.
The Client Service Director (CSD) will oversee quantitative research projects, which includes client briefings, consulting on optimal research design, and analyzing and presenting key conclusions along with strategic recommendations. (S)he will play a crucial role in fostering relationships with clients, extending beyond current and future projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for a major client, including turnover growth responsibility.
- Implement client plans to meet needs and sustain growth.
- Develop strong, solid client relationships to convert opportunities into business.
- Understand the client’s organization and navigate seamlessly among different teams and workstreams.
- Accurately identify internal and external challenges.
- Deliver high-level consultancy by understanding category and business dynamics.
- Consult with clients to identify needs and shape relevant learning plans.
- Develop appropriate research solutions utilizing current and innovative techniques.
- Provide precise and actionable recommendations.
- Interface with other Ipsos expertise and dedicated teams to deliver a holistic perspective to clients.
- Manage and mentor a team of 2 to 3 individuals based in Geneva.
To achieve these goals, the CSD and their team will work closely with the research group responsible for project management and execution.

Desired Skills and Experience
- Graduate in marketing, sociology, psychology, business, or a related field.
- 8 to 10 years of significant quantitative primary research experience in a market research agency or similar environment (essential).
- Strong market analysis skills, ideally within FMCG, OTC, or tobacco sectors.
- Proven expertise in leading multi-country projects, as over 90% of our projects are global.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional English proficiency; French or German is a plus.
- A dedication to delivering outstanding attention and service to clients.
- Ability to multitask and manage several projects at different stages with excellent organizational skills.
- Open-minded, curious, dynamic, and enthusiastic.
- Collaborative spirit and a strong team player.
