To enhance our Geneva office and strengthen our innovation expertise, we are seeking a Client Service Director eager to embark on an exciting career path dedicated to servicing our key international and local clients with excellence.
The Client Service Director (CSD) will oversee quantitative research projects, engaging in client briefings, consulting on the most suitable design, and analyzing and presenting key conclusions along with strategic recommendations. This role will be pivotal in nurturing client relationships, extending beyond current and future projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for a major client, including:
- Growing the business and managing turnover responsibility.
- Implementing client plans to meet needs and ensure sustainable growth.
- Developing strong and solid relationships to convert opportunities into business.
- Understanding the client’s organization and navigating effectively between different teams and workstreams.
- Clearly capturing various internal and external challenges.
- Deliver a high level of consultancy:
- Understanding category and business dynamics.
- Consulting with clients to identify their needs and shape the most relevant learning plans.
- Developing the most appropriate research solutions by leveraging innovative techniques.
- Providing precise and actionable recommendations.
- Collaborating with other Ipsos experts and dedicated teams to offer clients a more holistic perspective.
- Manage and coach a team of 2 to 3 people in Geneva.
To achieve these goals, the CSD and their team will be supported by the research group responsible for project management and execution, working closely with this team.

Desired Skills and Experience
- Degree in marketing, sociology, psychology, business, or related fields.
- Significant quantitative primary research experience (8 to 10 years) in a market research agency or related area (essential).
- Strong market analysis skills, ideally in the FMCG, OTC, or tobacco sectors.
- Expertise in leading multi-country projects, as over 90% of projects are global.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in English; knowledge of French or German is an advantage.
- Exceptional attention to detail and client service orientation.
- Able to manage multiple projects at various stages simultaneously with outstanding organizational skills.
- Open-minded, curious, dynamic, and enthusiastic.
- Strong team player with a collaborative spirit.
