About the Role
Our Creative Excellence team in Geneva, which specializes in quantitative advertising research, is seeking a Client Service Director. This role offers the opportunity to work in a multi-cultural and collaborative environment that promotes diversity and inclusion. As a Client Service Director, you will partner with passionate creative advisors and engage with sizable international clients across various product and service categories within the creative excellence journey.
There is some flexibility in this position, including a mix of office work (3 days a week) and remote work.
Main Responsibilities
- Drive turnover to meet budget targets set for the team.
- Retain and grow business with accountability for structural clients.
- Contribute to the commercial roadmap and monitor commercial activations.
- Build solid relationships with key contacts within the client's organization.
- Lead performance management within the Creative Excellence team.
- Mentor team members to enhance expertise, providing regular feedback and organizing training sessions.
- Collaborate closely with the project management team.
Consultative Excellence
Deliver high-level consultancy services to clients on their creative excellence journey, from early-stage research to in-market evaluation. Responsibilities include:
- Understanding category and business dynamics.
- Consulting with clients to identify needs and shape the most relevant research and learning plans.
- Collaborating with other Ipsos service lines and global dedicated teams to provide a holistic perspective to clients.
- Acting as a trusted creative advisor and partner.
Cultivating a Collaborative Culture
Drive knowledge sharing and a culture of collaboration by:
- Inspiring the team through shared learnings, expertise, and insights.
- Being a vocal advocate within and outside Ipsos to elevate the profile of creative excellence expertise in Switzerland.
Desired Skills and Experience
Essential:
- University degree, preferably in marketing/market research, social sciences, communication sciences, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in market research agencies.
- Strong client management skills with the ability to deliver exceptional service.
- Proven commercial acumen.
- Excellent communication and liaison abilities across a variety of internal and external senior stakeholders.
- Solid market analysis skills, from data collection to insights delivery.
- Fluent in English.
- Curiosity, proactivity, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- A collaborative and supportive mindset.
Desirable:
- Internationally minded and multicultural with strong interpersonal communication skills.
- A passion for creativity, advertising, media, and digital, with professional experience in these domains.
- Additional languages beyond English are an advantage.
