As we continue to expand our presence across Switzerland, we are seeking a dynamic Client Partner to lead high-impact engagements with our strategic clients in the Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector. This position is based at our Glattpark, Zurich branch.

Your Role

In the role of Client Partner, you will be crucial in driving innovation and growth within the Retail and CPG sector. Serving as a trusted advisor to clients in Switzerland, you will spearhead strategic dialogues focused on digital transformation, IT services, and business process solutions, utilizing advanced technologies such as cloud infrastructure, enterprise platforms (SAP, Kronos, ServiceNow), AI/GenAI, omnichannel commerce, and sustainability.

You will possess a strong consultative mindset and extensive domain knowledge, with the ability to convert complex technologies into tangible business outcomes. Your efforts will be vital in enhancing our market presence in Switzerland.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Drive IT & Digital Strategy: Help clients navigate complex transformation journeys by aligning Tech Mahindra’s comprehensive portfolio of services—cloud, enterprise applications, BPS, automation, and cybersecurity—with their strategic objectives.
  • Leverage Industry Expertise: Utilize your understanding of Retail & CPG processes, including omnichannel integration, digital supply chain, inventory optimization, consumer insights, and master data management, to co-create impactful, future-ready solutions.
  • Enable Omnichannel Excellence: Assist clients in delivering seamless experiences across customer, distributor, and supplier journeys through innovative B2B, B2C, and B2B2C strategies.
  • Consultative & Value-Based Selling: Lead strategic discussions using challenger and consultative sales approaches, aligning Tech Mahindra’s offerings with client KPIs such as revenue growth, cost optimization, and improved customer experiences.
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, LinkedIn outreach, and industry events. Accelerate client acquisition by showcasing relevant use cases and leveraging Tech Mahindra’s extensive track record.
  • Strategic Alliances & Ecosystem Expansion: Collaborate with global product alliances (SAP, ServiceNow, Salesforce, etc.) to formulate joint go-to-market strategies, creating added value for clients in Switzerland.
  • Co-Creation & Solution Design: Transform innovation into business-relevant use cases. Engage closely with clients to design and implement tailored solutions and ensure success post-deployment.
  • Global Collaboration & Delivery Oversight: Coordinate with delivery and solution teams across multiple geographies (especially India) to guarantee seamless execution and alignment with Swiss client expectations.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate long-term partnerships by identifying new areas of engagement and expanding Tech Mahindra’s footprint within existing accounts.

Your Profile

  • Swiss or EU/EFTA citizenship
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s in Marketing preferred)
  • 5-7 years of experience in IT sales, client management, or transformation consulting (particularly with CIO/CDO/CTO and Procurement teams)
  • Strong understanding of the Retail and CPG industry
  • Experience working with at least 3 major Retail and CPG clients headquartered in Switzerland (e.g., Nestlé, Migros, Lindt, Barry Callebaut), possessing in-depth knowledge of their digital transformation agendas and enterprise ecosystems
  • Proven track record in managing enterprise accounts and strategic engagements
  • Ability to craft compelling business cases and correlate technology solutions with business outcomes
  • Understanding of new-age technologies and their significance in business transformation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strategic thinker with a growth mindset
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written
