Position Overview
Facebook is looking for an experienced consultative sales and marketing professional to enhance our advertising solutions for prominent brands in the FMCG sector. This position is available in either Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, or Zurich and is a limited-term opportunity (1 year).
Responsibilities
- Define Facebook’s strategic approach for its key clients in the DACH market and manage a specific portfolio.
- Develop, lead, and implement strategies that drive both short-term and long-term revenue for brand clients.
- Engage with client, media, and advertising organizations to secure commitments in performance advertising.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop operational and strategic initiatives, including work plans and market data analysis.
- Create metrics to track the sales team’s growth and performance, providing reports as necessary.
- Prepare compelling sales presentations using market trends, case studies, and Facebook's advertising solutions.
- Analyze campaign performance statistics and recommend optimized media solutions.
- Act as a thought leader in the FMCG sector to expand Facebook's presence in the market and capture additional advertising budget shares.
- Achieve and surpass personal and team sales, pricing, and yield goals.
- Ensure the highest level of sales and operational customer service for our clients.
- Represent Facebook at relevant industry events.
- Stay updated on digital marketing trends, technology, and Facebook solutions.
- Educate clients on Facebook products, company updates, and best practices relevant to their business.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience in Marketing, Consulting, Brand Advertising, Media Sales, and/or Online Advertising, particularly in the FMCG sector.
- Extensive knowledge in sales or marketing with a successful track record in developing strategic relationships to drive revenue.
- History of meeting and exceeding sales revenue goals.
- Experience engaging with C-level executives and top management.
- Proven ability to manage sophisticated and KPI-driven performance and brand marketing campaigns across various channels.
- Established relationships with key marketing decision-makers at traditional companies and media agencies (a plus).
- Active Facebook user with a passion for social media.
- A successful change leader, capable of introducing new performance measures and processes.
- Able to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment.
- Strong understanding of user behavior and technology, with the ability to explain concepts in simple terms.
- Fluent in business-level German and English.
