Your Role

Are you a dynamic Client Advisor who excels at delivering an exceptional client experience? Do you have a strong track record in client advisory and sales? Are you well connected with both Hong Kong and Chinese entrepreneurs, Ultra-High Net-Worth Individuals, and families? Are you a proven risk manager?

We are seeking a Wealth Management Client Advisor in Zurich, Switzerland, to cover the Hong Kong and China markets.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Build, establish, and grow client relationships.
  • Provide trusted advice to clients in collaboration with colleagues from investment products and solutions teams.
  • Develop the client book with measurable outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client investor profiles.
  • Take a strategic view of clients’ investments and closely monitor portfolio quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and standards in alignment with our risk management culture.

Your Team

You will be part of a well-established High-Net-Worth-Individual (HNWI) / Ultra-High-Net-Worth-Individual (UHNWI) team in Zurich, Switzerland, with decades of experience covering both the Hong Kong and China markets.

We focus on managing, preserving, and growing our clients’ wealth while assisting them in planning for and managing succession. Our commitment to training and continuous education empowers our employees to better serve our clients and promotes personal development.

As a Client Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in helping us maintain our status as a global leader in wealth management.

Your Expertise

  • Over 15 years of proven experience in wealth management from leading private banks, specifically covering the Hong Kong and China markets.
  • Strong Mandarin and Cantonese language skills (ideally at a native level) relevant to sophisticated and complex financial advisory.
  • Extensive network among Hong Kong and Chinese entrepreneurs, business owners of listed companies and private equity firms, U/HNWIs, and Next-Gen clients across key industries, including healthcare, technology, and commodities.
  • Knowledge and experience in collaborating with Global Banking, Global Markets, Investment Banking, and Asset Management from a Wealth Management perspective would be advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of financial markets and regulatory frameworks within Hong Kong and China.
  • Business management experience with enhanced risk management and process knowledge in Wealth Management is considered a plus.
  • Cultural competence in understanding the values and investment interests of clients from both Hong Kong and China banking with UBS in Switzerland.
  • Highly educated in Business Administration or Finance, holding both a Bachelor's and Master's degree.
