Your Role

Are you a dynamic Client Advisor who delivers an exceptional client experience? Do you have a strong track record in client advisory and sales? Are you well-connected to both Hong Kong and Chinese entrepreneurs, Ultra-High Net-Worth Individuals, and Families? Are you a proven risk manager?

We’re looking for a Wealth Management Client Advisor in Zurich, Switzerland, covering both the Hong Kong and China markets.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Build, establish, and grow client relationships.
  • Provide trusted advice to clients in collaboration with colleagues from investment products and solutions teams.
  • Develop the client book with measurable outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client investor profiles.
  • Take a strategic view of clients’ investments and closely monitor portfolio quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and standards in alignment with our risk management culture.

Your Team

You will be working in a well-established High-Net-Worth Individual (HNWI)/Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individual (UHNWI) team covering both the Hong Kong and China markets in Zurich, Switzerland, with a multi-decade track record.

We focus on managing, preserving, and growing our clients’ wealth while helping them plan for and manage succession.

We provide our employees with training and continuous education to better serve our clients and promote personal development.

As a Client Advisor, you’ll play a key role in helping us grow and maintain our position as a global leader in wealth management.

Your Expertise

  • Proven experience of 15 years or more in wealth management from leading private banks, covering both the Hong Kong and China markets.
  • Highly competent Mandarin and Cantonese language skills (ideally native level) in the context of sophisticated and complex financial advisory.
  • Extensive network of Hong Kong and Chinese entrepreneurs, business owners of listed companies, private equity firms, UHNWI, and Next-Gen clients in key industries including healthcare, technology, and commodities.
  • Knowledge and experience in collaborating with Global Banking, Global Markets, Investment Banking, and Asset Management from a Wealth Management perspective to strategize on UBS's One Bank solution would be advantageous.
  • Firm grasp of financial markets and regulatory frameworks in Hong Kong and China.
  • Business management experience with enhanced risk management and process knowledge in Wealth Management is considered a plus.
  • Cultural competence in understanding the values and investment interests of both Hong Kong and China market clients who bank with UBS in Switzerland.
  • Highly educated in Business Administration or Finance, holding both a Bachelor's and Master's degree.
