The Role
GenderPrise International Sàrl is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the company's strategic development, programmatic direction, and external positioning. This is a senior executive leadership role that requires a strong strategic vision, professional credibility in gender equality and institutional development, and the ability to operate confidently in international and multicultural environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and operationalize the approved strategic directions of GenderPrise International Sàrl, translating them into actionable plans, services, and measurable outcomes across all areas of activity.
- Lead the implementation, positioning, and continuous improvement of programs, methodologies, and advisory offerings, ensuring consistency with the company’s strategic framework and quality standards.
- Drive commercial development by expanding institutional and corporate client portfolios, managing key partnerships, and identifying opportunities for sustainable revenue growth in line with strategic priorities.
- Represent GenderPrise in high-level engagements with clients, partners, and stakeholders, acting as the primary executive interface in negotiations, presentations, and strategic discussions.
- Oversee proposal development, fundraising activities, and strategic collaborations, ensuring commercial viability, intellectual integrity, and alignment with approved objectives.
- Provide executive leadership to internal teams, consultants, and external experts, ensuring effective coordination, accountability, and performance management across projects and functions.
- Ensure close coordination between programmatic, financial, administrative, and operational functions, in cooperation with relevant managers, to support efficient delivery and organizational stability.
- Uphold corporate governance, ethical standards, and compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
- Monitor performance, delivery quality, and impact indicators, reporting to the governing body and contributing to continuous improvement and organizational sustainability.
Required Qualifications:
Education
Advanced university degree (Master’s or PhD) in one or more of the following fields:
- Organizational or Institutional Development
- Business Administration, Management, or an MBA
- International Development
- Gender Studies
- Public Policy or related social sciences
Professional Experience:
Minimum 10 years of senior professional experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Executive leadership, general management, or senior advisory roles
- Strategic development, consulting, or institutional leadership
- Gender equality, inclusion, or social impact fields within commercial, institutional, or hybrid organizations
Demonstrated experience in:
- Leading organizations, business units, programs, or complex multi-stakeholder initiatives
- Managing senior stakeholder relationships, including executive-level clients, institutional partners, and decision-makers
- Operating in international and multicultural environments across multiple markets or regions
A strong track record in at least one of the following:
- Business development, client acquisition, or revenue growth
- Scaling services, advisory products, or organizational operations
- Leading transformation, change, or institutional development processes
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong strategic, analytical, and systems-thinking capabilities, with the ability to translate strategic priorities into executable plans and measurable outcomes.
- Proven executive leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to operate autonomously, set priorities, and lead under complexity and ambiguity.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, enabling effective communication with senior executives, institutional stakeholders, and diverse audiences.
- Ability to integrate research, policy, and practice into commercially viable advisory services and institutional solutions.
- Strong stakeholder, risk, and conflict management skills, navigating sensitive environments, competing interests, and high-level negotiations.
- Demonstrated business development capabilities, including proposal development, client engagement, and resource mobilization.
- High level of integrity, professional maturity, discretion, and ethical judgment, consistent with executive fiduciary responsibilities.
Languages:
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required
- Professional working proficiency in French is a strong asset
- Knowledge of additional languages, especially Russian and Turkish, is considered an advantage
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for the position:
- Legal eligibility to work in Switzerland, or demonstrable eligibility to obtain a Swiss work and residence permit for a senior executive position
- Demonstrated capacity to assume executive responsibility in accordance with Swiss commercial and labor law
- Availability to be based in, or to regularly operate from Geneva, Switzerland
- Absence of any conflicts of interest that could compromise executive decision-making, governance integrity, or fiduciary duties
- Willingness and ability to comply with internal governance policies, ethical standards, and confidentiality obligations of GenderPrise International Sàrl
For non-Swiss nationals, appointment to the position is conditional upon the successful completion of all applicable immigration, work authorization, and compliance procedures, in accordance with Swiss law.

Financial Terms:
GenderPrise International Sàrl offers a competitive executive remuneration package, commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and scope of responsibility.
The financial package may include:
- A fixed annual gross salary aligned with senior executive benchmarks in Switzerland
- Statutory social security contributions and improved insurance conditions in accordance with Swiss law
- Additional benefits, subject to contractual agreement
Final financial terms will be determined based on the selected candidate’s profile and will be formalized in an executive employment contract in full compliance with Swiss labor and commercial regulations.
