Purpose

As the Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO), you will serve as a strategic leader, driving global business growth through thorough market assessments, developing new partnerships, expanding into new countries and regions, and exploring M&A opportunities. Drawing on your extensive experience and robust relationships within the healthcare sector, you will seek to increase revenues in novel markets, initiate new product offerings, and forge valuable partnerships.

The Investor Relations (IR) Lead will be tasked with crafting and executing the company’s investor relations strategy. This role focuses on engaging with both existing and potential investors and supports the organization’s fundraising objectives, including preparation for a possible IPO. Collaboration with various departments is essential to ensure consistent and compelling communication with the investment community.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy in close collaboration with regional and functional business teams, aligned with company goals.
  • Assist regional business teams in establishing market entry strategies for new products and markets.
  • Forge and maintain relationships with key industry investors and payers, including dental service organizations, distributors, and global healthcare organizations.
  • Collaborate with the R&D and Marketing teams to create and manage a licensing business model through strategic partnerships with third-party entities, expanding outreach and revenue streams.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory environments to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  • Establish and monitor specific KPIs to assess the success of growth initiatives and partnerships in cooperation with the Finance and Data Analytics teams.

Investor Relations

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive investor relations strategy focused on engaging family offices, institutional investors, and potential new funding sources.
  • Lead the preparation of materials for fundraising activities, investor presentations, and due diligence processes.
  • Coordinate the preparation of necessary documentation for an IPO, including prospectuses, investor decks, and regulatory filings, working closely with legal, finance, and communications teams.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with current and prospective investors, analysts, and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor market conditions, investor sentiment, and industry trends to inform strategic IR activities.
  • Organize and manage investor meetings, roadshows, conference calls, and other engagement activities.
  • Support ongoing investor communications, quarterly reports, and other disclosures to ensure transparency and strengthen investor confidence.
  • Provide insights and feedback to executive management to shape investor messaging and strategic positioning.
  • Analyze investor feedback and market developments to refine IR strategies.
