Purpose

As the Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO), you will serve as a strategic leader dedicated to propelling global business growth through market assessments, forming new partnerships, expanding into new countries and regions, as well as pursuing M&A opportunities. With your extensive experience and robust network in the healthcare sector, your focus will be on identifying and developing avenues to increase revenues in new markets, introduce innovative products, and cultivate partnerships.

The Investor Relations (IR) Lead will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company’s investor relations strategy. This position involves engaging with current and prospective investors and bolstering the company’s fundraising objectives, which include preparations for a potential IPO. Collaboration with various departments will be essential to ensure clear, consistent, and compelling communication with the investment community.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy in close collaboration with regional business and functional teams, aligned with company goals.
  • Support regional business teams in establishing market entry strategies for new markets and products.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key investors and payers within the industry, including dental service organizations, distributors, and healthcare organizations globally.
  • Collaborate with R&D and Marketing teams to develop and manage a licensing business model through partnerships with third-party entities to expand reach and revenue streams.
  • Remain informed on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory environments to effectively capitalize on opportunities.
  • Establish and monitor specific KPIs to assess growth initiatives and partnership success, working closely with the Finance and Data Analytics teams.

Investor Relations

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive investor relations strategy aimed at engaging family offices, institutional investors, and identifying potential new funding sources.
  • Lead the preparation of materials for fundraising activities, investor presentations, and due diligence processes.
  • Oversee the preparation of necessary documentation for an IPO, including prospectuses, investor decks, and regulatory filings, in collaboration with legal, finance, and communications teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders.
  • Monitor market conditions, investor sentiment, and industry trends to inform strategic IR initiatives.
  • Organize and manage investor meetings, roadshows, conference calls, and other engagement activities.
  • Support ongoing investor communications, quarterly reports, and other disclosures to ensure transparency and foster investor confidence.
  • Provide insights and feedback to executive management to shape investor messaging and strategic positioning.
  • Track and analyze investor feedback and market developments to refine IR strategies.
