Role Overview
You will play a pivotal role in expanding our EMEA business in corporate banking and fintech partnerships, driving growth through strategic alliances and client acquisition.
Core Duties
- Identify and secure new target segments (e.g., corporates, institutional investors, fintechs)
- Lead negotiations for large-scale partnership agreements
- Conduct financial analyses to assess the feasibility and ROI of new business lines
- Oversee business development processes, from market analysis and proposal preparation to closing
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of business development and BD analysts
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations in all business development initiatives
- Represent the organization at trade shows, investor roadshows, and corporate events
- Manage contract negotiations, commercial offers, and high-stakes deals
- Analyze financials to optimize operations and reduce costs
Your Experience Should Include
- Extensive network in the financial sector (through LinkedIn, Xing, etc.), with a proven record in business development or as a Chief Human Resource Officer, particularly in the Middle East and Gulf regions (Dubai, Saudi Arabia, etc.), as our initial strategy focuses on expanding operations in these areas
- An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and metrics
- Team leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring, and recruiting
- Exposure to AI-based software and main concepts
Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of leadership experience in business development, human resources, sales, or strategic partnership roles (preferably in B2B or a relevant industry)
- Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and negotiation skills
- Experience collaborating across departments to execute cross-functional initiatives
- Excellent communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management
- Bilingual in English and Arabic
Qualifications
- MSc degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (MBA also considered) from a well-regarded or top-ranked Swiss university or higher education institution
- Advanced degrees or certifications in business development or financial services are a plus
