As we prepare for the retirement of a valued member of our Senior Leadership Team, we invite applications for a visionary Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) to help translate these aspirations into lasting impact.

Position Overview

The CAO will report directly to the Director and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to lead the strategic development and execution of ZIS's advancement initiatives. These include:

  • Fundraising
  • Enrollment management
  • Alumni and community engagement
  • Communications

As a pivotal member of the Senior Leadership Team, the CAO will be instrumental in enhancing the school’s reputation, fostering relationships within its global community, and ensuring long-term financial sustainability. Moreover, the CAO will motivate and support our Community Relations team to meet the demands of an increasingly ambitious agenda.

Your Profile

We seek a proven advancement leader with a successful track record of implementing high-impact philanthropic strategies to increase income across various streams, including major gifts, capital campaigns, and endowments. Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Exceptional communication skills
  • A sophisticated understanding of stakeholder engagement
  • Experience or strong knowledge of alumni relations, enrollment, or communications—preferably in an educational setting
  • The ability to craft compelling narratives that mobilize support and strengthen community connections
  • A collaborative, inclusive, and trusted leadership style
