In the role of Chemical Production Technician, you will be vital in assembling, producing, and ensuring the quality of a new product used in the generation of ultra-pure water.

This position is based in Witterswil, Solothurn (Basel Area), Switzerland. We offer excellent public transport access (Tram 10) and free on-site parking.

What is the Role?

As a Production Technician, you will flexibly support all production entities in the new factory, taking responsibility for operating, preparing, troubleshooting, and cleaning the plants independently.

• Flexible and independent processing of production orders according to the production schedule
• Cleaning, setting up, and operating machinery and equipment following manufacturing documentation and quality standards
• Handling water and chemicals, using mechanical tools, electromechanical systems, process analyzers, and automation controls
• Performing stock counts and inventory checks
• Identifying and reporting potential issues proactively
• Participating in daily shop floor meetings
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of production processes

Does This Sound Like You?

• A background in chemical production or a related technical field
• 3–5 years of experience in a production environment
• Strong technical understanding and practical experience in installing hydraulic facilities
• Analytical skills to leverage data and available resources to resolve key daily issues
• Accurate and reliable working style
• Self-initiative and creativity, with the ability to be flexible and work under pressure
• A good team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills
• Proficient in English for daily business; knowledge of German, French, or other languages is an added advantage
• You must be a Swiss or EU citizen or hold a C Swiss resident permit.
