As a Chemical Production Technician, you will play a vital role in assembling, producing, and ensuring the quality of a new product used in the generation of ultra-pure water.

This position is based in Witterswil, Solothurn (Basel Area), Switzerland, with excellent public transport access (Tram 10) and free on-site parking.

What is the Role?

As a Production Technician, you will be flexibly assigned to all production entities in the new factory. You will operate, prepare, troubleshoot, and clean the plants independently.

• Flexible and independent processing of production orders according to the production schedule
• Cleaning, setting up, and operating machinery and equipment in compliance with manufacturing documentation and quality standards
• Handling water and chemicals while utilizing mechanical tools, electromechanical systems, process analyzers, and automation controls
• Performing stock counts and inventory checks
• Identifying and reporting potential issues proactively
• Participating in daily shop floor meetings
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of production processes

Does This Sound Like You?

• A background in chemical production or a related technical field
• 3–5 years of experience in a production environment
• Strong technical understanding and practical experience, such as installation on hydraulic facilities
• Analytical prowess to leverage data and available resources to resolve key workshop issues
• Accurate and reliable working style
• Self-initiative and creativity, with the flexibility to work under pressure
• A team-oriented attitude complemented by excellent communication skills
• Good English language skills for daily business. Proficiency in German, French, or other languages is a plus
• You are a Swiss or EU citizen, or possess a C Swiss resident permit
