What to Expect at TechFirm
As a Chemical / Bioprocess Engineer, you will lead Fill Finish (and Device Assembly) projects with a strong focus on fill & finish. Your responsibilities will include:
- Representing the Fill Finish Pilot Plant while interfacing with the Drug Product Development group, the Drug Delivery Systems group, and the supply management team to ensure timely clinical supplies.
- Ensuring that manufacturing-relevant information and technical capabilities are established for the operations team, enabling the flawless production of Drug Product/Device Assembly in accordance with GxP, EHS, and business requirements.
- Facilitating timely plant readiness and supporting the operations team during experimental and clinical activities.
- Overseeing the timely delivery of clinical material to Pack & Label sites (internal and/or external).
- Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, serving as the single point of contact between the organization and pilot plant facility.
- Providing pilot plant input and requirements as necessary.
- Sourcing raw materials and components when required.
- Ensuring that manufacturing processes are consistent with agreed platforms and are scalable and transferable to commercial operations.
- Supporting planning, execution, and documentation (protocols, reports, memos).
- Assisting with investigations, CAPAs, and change controls according to assigned responsibilities, as well as performing critical raw data review for key documents.
- Forecasting and monitoring actual expenditures versus budget.
- Maintaining compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Your Strengths for Our Team
- Degree in Pharmaceutical, Biochemical, Chemical Sciences, or a related field (3+ years of relevant experience or 1+ year with a PhD).
- Experience in biologics drug product development and/or device assembly is a plus.
- Familiarity with biopharmaceutical process design and technology transfer is beneficial.
- Hands-on experience in Fill & Finish operations or device assembly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and project leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English (German is a plus).
