What to Expect at TechFirm
As a Chemical / Bioprocess Engineer, you will play a vital role in leading Fill Finish and Device Assembly projects with a focus on fill & finish. Your responsibilities will include:
- Representing the Fill Finish Pilot Plant by interfacing with the Drug Product Development group, the Drug Delivery Systems group, and the supply management team to ensure timely clinical supplies.
- Ensuring that the manufacturing relevant information and technical capabilities are in place for the operations team to flawlessly produce the Drug Product and Device Assembly according to GxP, EHS, and business requirements.
- Supporting the operations team in executing experimental and clinical activities while ensuring timely plant readiness.
- Facilitating the timely delivery of clinical materials to Pack & Label sites, both internal and external.
- Managing overall relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as the single point of contact between the organization and pilot plant facility.
- Providing pilot plant input and requirements as needed.
- Sourcing raw materials and components when necessary.
- Ensuring that manufacturing processes align with agreed platforms and are scalable and transferable to commercial operations.
- Planning, executing, and documenting protocols, reports, and memos as required.
- Supporting investigations, CAPAs, and change controls according to assigned responsibilities, performing critical raw data reviews for key documents.
- Forecasting and monitoring actual spending versus budget.
- Maintaining compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Your Strengths for Our Team
- A degree in Pharmaceutical, Biochemical, Chemical Sciences, or a related field (3+ years of relevant experience or 1+ year with a Ph.D.).
- Experience in biologics drug product development and/or device assembly is a plus.
- Familiarity with biopharmaceutical process design and technology transfer is beneficial.
- Hands-on experience in Fill & Finish operations or device assembly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and project leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English is required (German is a plus).
