Full-Time 100% Chef (Taiwanese Kitchen)
We are a small family-owned and family-run Taiwanese restaurant located in Kreis 4, Zurich. Since July 2021, we have built a loyal following thanks to the novelty, variety, and quality of our food and service. Each meal is prepared with care to ensure an exceptional dining experience. We are currently seeking a full-time Taiwanese chef to join our team as soon as possible.
Your Tasks
- Manage kitchen helpers and prep chefs to ensure the kitchen is set up for service and ingredients are prepared.
- Oversee stock management and inventory control.
- Supervise cleaning and food storage in compliance with HACCP guidelines.
- Cook main course wok-fried dishes.
- Bring creativity and fresh ideas to menu development and specials.
Your Profile
- Residing in or near Zurich, Kreis 4, or willing to relocate to Switzerland from the EU.
- Reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn, with the ability to cooperate with team members while remaining calm and focused under pressure.
- Intermediate communication skills in English and Mandarin are essential.
- Training and experience in Asian cuisine are required, with a solid understanding of Taiwanese cuisine being a must.
Offer
- Start date: Immediate.
- Full-time hours: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday lunch from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM, and Tuesday to Sunday evenings from 5:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
- Monthly wage contract in accordance with L-GAV guidelines, including a 13th-month salary and 25 working days of paid vacation.
