Full-Time 100% Chef (Taiwanese Kitchen)
Join our family-owned Taiwanese restaurant located in the vibrant Kreis 4, Zurich. Since our establishment in July 2021, we have cultivated a loyal following due to the uniqueness, variety, and quality of our food and service. Every meal is crafted with precision to ensure an exceptional dining experience. We are seeking a full-time Taiwanese chef to become a vital part of our team as soon as possible.
Your Tasks
- Manage kitchen helpers and preparation chefs to set up the kitchen for service and prepare ingredients.
- Oversee stock management and inventory control.
- Ensure cleaning and food storage procedures comply with HACCP guidelines.
- Prepare main course wok-fry dishes.
- Have the opportunity to contribute creativity and fresh ideas to menu development and specials.
Your Profile
- Reside in or near Zurich, Kreis 4, or be prepared to relocate to Switzerland from the EU.
- Demonstrate reliability, a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to maintain composure under pressure while collaborating with team members.
- Possess intermediate communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
- Hold training qualifications and experience in Asian cuisine, with a particular emphasis on Taiwanese culinary practices.
Offer
- Immediate start date.
- Full-time schedule: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday lunch from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM and Tuesday to Sunday evenings from 5:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
- Monthly wage contract complying with L-GAV guidelines, which includes a 13th month salary and 25 days of paid vacation.
