Full-Time 100% Chef (Taiwanese Kitchen)
We are a small, family-owned Taiwanese restaurant in Kreis 4, Zurich. Since July 2021, we have gained a loyal following due to the novelty, variety, and quality of our food and service. Each meal is prepared with care to ensure an excellent dining experience. We are looking for a full-time Taiwanese chef to join our team as soon as possible.
Your Tasks
- Manage kitchen helpers and preparation chefs to set up the kitchen for service and prepare ingredients.
- Oversee stock and inventory management.
- Supervise cleaning and food storage in compliance with HACCP guidelines.
- Cook main course wok-fried dishes.
- Bring creativity and fresh ideas to develop the menu and specials.
Your Profile
- Reside in or close to Zurich, Kreis 4, or willing to relocate to Switzerland from the EU.
- Reliable and hard-working with a willingness to learn, cooperating with team members while remaining calm and focused under pressure.
- Intermediate communication skills in English and Mandarin are a must.
- Training qualifications and experience in Asian cuisine are required, with knowledge of Taiwanese cuisine being essential.
Offer
- Starting immediately.
- Full-time position (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday lunch 10:30-14:00 and Tuesday - Sunday nights 17:00 – 22:30).
- Monthly wage contract following L-GAV guidelines, including a 13th-month salary and 25 working days of paid vacation.
