Our Mission
At Coface, we believe that providing our clients with tailored credit risk solutions and in-depth market expertise is essential for safeguarding trade. As a CGS Account Manager, you will play a vital role in this mission by supporting multinational clients with complex structures and international operations. By coordinating global credit insurance programs and collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners, you will help ensure consistent service delivery and long-term client satisfaction across borders.
Role Purpose
As an Account Manager within Coface Global Solutions (CGS), you will be instrumental in managing and coordinating international credit insurance programs for multinational clients. Reporting to the Commercial Director, your responsibilities will include ensuring seamless service delivery, maintaining strong relationships with clients and brokers, and acting as a strategic liaison among clients, brokers, and internal teams.
Your Main Missions
- Manage and develop a portfolio of multinational CGS clients, directly or via broker networks
- Lead up-selling and cross-selling initiatives across assigned accounts
- Plan, initiate, and negotiate policy renewals with clients and/or brokers
- Conduct regular meetings and visits with clients and brokers to foster strong relationships
- Actively gather and analyze market intelligence pertinent to client needs and industry trends
- Represent Coface at external events and professional gatherings
- Prepare and issue contract documentation, ensuring accurate data input and follow-up
- Address client requests and provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis
- Support annual account planning, client meeting preparation, and feedback reporting
- Perform administrative tasks related to account management and documentation
- Ensure compliance with all Coface policies and procedures
Candidate Profile
Education
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Banking, or a related field
- AFA Insurance Intermediary Certificate (Non-Life module)
Experience
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in account management or client servicing within financial services or insurance
- Proven track record in business development and client relationship management
- Experience working with multinational clients and broker networks
Competencies
- Strong ability to work cross-functionally across diverse business processes
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills with senior stakeholders
- Capable of delivering high-quality service under tight deadlines
- Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
- Fluent in English and German; knowledge of French would be a plus
- Proficient in CRM systems and MS Office
