About the Role

Techfirm Industrie AG is seeking an experienced Project Planner to support large-scale capital expansion projects within an international biopharma environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in planning, scheduling, and reporting project progress across global facilities, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor, and update integrated project plans and schedules covering the entire project scope for optimal execution.
  • Ensure schedule integration consistency across multiple disciplines, including contractors and EPCM teams.
  • Prepare baseline schedules and documentation for project team approvals.
  • Assess impacts on critical and near-critical paths; report findings and recommend mitigations to project leadership.
  • Track schedule deviations and propose alternative corrective actions.
  • Generate and present schedule progress reports, trend analyses, and schedule performance updates regularly.
  • Maintain detailed records of scope changes and schedule variances affecting project timelines.
  • Facilitate project scheduling and interactive planning meetings as necessary.
  • Ensure resource loading is accurately accounted for in project schedules.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in planning and schedule control for large capital projects, preferably CHF 20 million and above; experience with projects up to CHF 200 million is a plus.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets, draw conclusions, and support decision-making.
  • Experience working independently and collaboratively within team environments.
  • Comfortable managing ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; proficiency in German is preferred to facilitate team communication.
  • Familiarity with project management software related to cost control and data analysis.
