We are looking for a proactive Buyer to take ownership of purchasing, supplier relationships, and inventory availability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your background could be in Purchasing, Supply Planning, Materials, Inventory, or Supply Chain; what matters most is strong supplier engagement, commercial awareness, and a proven track record of enhancing availability, performance, and service.

Key Responsibilities

• Raise, manage, and expedite purchase orders.
• Build strong supplier relationships and resolve delivery, quality, and invoice issues.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive service improvements.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial agreements.
• Maintain inventory levels while managing stock value.
• Produce purchasing and performance reports using Excel.
• Maintain accurate supplier and product data within ERP/MRP systems.
• Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities.
• Support the sourcing and onboarding of new suppliers.

About You

• Experience within Purchasing, Procurement, Buying, Supply Chain, or planning.
• Background in manufacturing, engineering, or a similar operational environment.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Business Central advantageous).
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Commercially aware with strong negotiation skills.
