About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and ambitious Buyer to join a growing manufacturing business with a diverse and well-established customer base. In this role, you will be responsible for the sourcing and procurement of materials, components, and services required to support a range of customer programs and manufacturing operations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across production, engineering, planning, and supply chain to ensure the timely delivery of parts while maintaining cost, quality, and supplier performance objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure materials, components, and services to meet operational requirements.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, and delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure continuity of supply.
• Support cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.
• Monitor inventory levels and demand requirements to ensure optimal stock availability.
• Resolve supply chain issues and proactively manage risks.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Previous experience in a Buyer or Procurement role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong operational procurement expertise.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial awareness with strong negotiation abilities.
• A proactive, driven attitude and a desire to develop a long-term career in procurement.
• The ability to identify opportunities for improvement and drive positive change.
