ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dedicated specialist to take ownership of our proprietary ERP application. This role encompasses its operation, ongoing development, and rollout to other businesses within our partner network, as well as analyzing the operational data generated for our management team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operation, maintenance, and further development of the ERP application, including modules, workflows, integrations, and reporting.
• Analysis of reservation, fleet, damage, and financial data, along with the preparation of decision bases and monthly reports for the management team.
• Analysis and enhancement of operational processes at the service counter and in fleet operations.
• Maintenance of interfaces with the industry platform WheelSys and payment service providers.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for ERP-related inquiries from branch and regional managers.
• Supporting the implementation in additional businesses, including training and documentation, with occasional travel required.

REQUIREMENTS

• A degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable field, or an equivalent practical qualification.
• Demonstrated practical experience in developing and operating a native iOS application in Swift.
• Experience working with operational systems and their interfaces, as well as with structured operational data for analysis and reporting.
• The ability to analyze business processes and convert them into technical solutions.
• Fluent English; proficiency in German is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site in Zurich and to travel occasionally.

WHY WE REQUIRE SWIFT EXPERIENCE

Our ERP application is not standard purchased software; it is an in-house development comprising approximately 265,000 lines of source code across 447 source files. The operational application is built natively in Swift for iOS and is utilized at every workstation in daily operations. The individual in this role must be able to read, modify, and extend the existing codebase. Experience limited to using or consulting on standard ERP systems (such as SAP, Odoo, Dynamics) will not suffice. This requirement stems from our unique system landscape.

NICE TO HAVE

• Knowledge of processes in vehicle rental, fleet management, or the mobility sector.
• Experience with Firebase or similar backend services (Firestore, Cloud Functions, Storage).
• Experience integrating payment service providers.
• Experience applying AI or automation tools to operational reporting.
• Experience working with businesses across multiple countries.
