Business Development & Sales Executive (Mandarin Speaking)

European Snowsport is expanding its winter and summer business by attracting Chinese and Mandarin-speaking clientele in preparation for the 2026 season and beyond. We have curated luxury tour and skiing packages, and we're seeking a passionate Mandarin speaker with an understanding of the Chinese market to drive sales, network, host these tours, manage holidays, and build connections with Chinese clients. This role will also involve visiting and networking in China and participating in trade shows.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Mandarin / University degree in Mandarin Language
  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledge and understanding of Chinese culture and traditions, including cultural nuances
  • Experience living in China or Hong Kong
  • Sales and marketing experience
  • Instructor Qualification/License (BASI 2 or higher equivalent)
  • Friendly demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with the 4 Valleys ski area

Role:

  • This is a business development and sales role focused on connecting and networking with Asian clients to attract new clientele continuously.
  • Build relationships with new clients while strengthening ties with existing customers, and negotiate contracts for strategic partnerships.
  • Promote and sell Mandarin-speaking tours to the China and Taiwan markets.
  • Assist in developing tours appealing to Mandarin-speaking clients for winter and summer seasons.
  • Translate website pages and marketing materials into Mandarin.
  • Create detailed descriptive documents for marketing to Mandarin-speaking clients (in Mandarin).
  • Respond to pre-arrival inquiries from Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Attend in-house training and induction sessions.
  • Deliver training to other instructors on working with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Possess detailed knowledge of products offered, including accommodations, activities, and resort information.
  • Ensure guests are informed about concierge services and remain available for assistance as needed.

Hosting:

  • Provide in-resort concierge services to Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Host and guide Mandarin-speaking clients during tours.
  • Provide feedback to management and offer input on product development.
  • Perform other duties as outlined in the contract.

This is a full-time, long-term position based in our headquarters in Verbier, Valais. The role will also include trips to China for networking and sales.
