Business Development & Sales Executive (Mandarin Speaking)

European Snowsport is excited to announce the expansion of our winter and summer business offerings. We are specifically aiming to attract Chinese and Mandarin-speaking clientele in preparation for the 2026 season and beyond. To support this initiative, we are looking for a dynamic Mandarin speaker with a deep understanding of the Chinese market. This role involves selling, networking, and hosting clients on luxury tour and ski packages while managing holidays and building lasting connections with Chinese clients. Additionally, the job requires networking in China and participating in trade shows.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Mandarin with a university degree in Mandarin Language.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Proficient understanding of Chinese culture and traditions, including cultural nuances.
  • Experience living in China or Hong Kong.
  • Sales and marketing experience.
  • Instructor Qualification/License (BASI2 or higher equivalent).
  • A personable and approachable demeanor.
  • Knowledge of the 4 Valleys ski area.

Role

  • This is a business development and sales role focused on connecting and networking with Asian clients to attract new business continuously.
  • Build relationships with new clients while strengthening ties with existing customers. Negotiate contracts for strategic partnerships.
  • Promote and sell Mandarin-speaking tours to the China and Taiwan markets.
  • Assist in developing tours tailored to Mandarin-speaking clients for both winter and summer seasons.
  • Translate website pages and marketing materials into Mandarin.
  • Create detailed descriptive documents for Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Respond to pre-arrival inquiries from Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Attend in-house training and participate in induction processes.
  • Deliver training to other instructors on working with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Possess detailed knowledge of the product delivered, including accommodations, activities, and resort information.
  • Ensure guests are aware of concierge services throughout their stay and be available for assistance as needed.

Hosting Responsibilities

  • Provide in-resort concierge services for Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Host and guide Mandarin-speaking clients during tours.
  • Provide feedback to management and insights for product development.
  • Other duties as outlined in the contract.
