Responsibilities
Objective of the Role:
The primary objective of this role is to achieve stated sales targets (both sell-in and sell-out) and EBITDA objectives. This involves developing tailored sales and marketing plans to drive profitability while ensuring all activities are cost-effective.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively strategize promotional tactics, animation activities, sales and staff incentive programs, and exclusive retailer collaborations to enhance profit margins.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with retailers and accounts to secure better space, costs, terms, and pricing for improved EBITDA and enhanced brand visibility.
- Exhibit strong leadership skills to effectively manage, develop, and motivate Business Associates (BAs) to excel in their performance.
- Engage in hands-on operational tasks, including in-store training and coaching, visual merchandising display, planogramming, and execution planning.
- Liaise and communicate effectively with internal teams to optimize all corporate and account goals, including order processing, payment collection, logistics, marketing, and finance.
- Maintain meticulous and detailed documentation to ensure accuracy in numbers, sales/business analysis, financial submissions, and forecasting.
- Uphold brand presentation standards in line with corporate directives, ensuring all visual merchandising displays, such as signage, price tags, and shelf talkers, are correctly executed.
- Develop forecasts and budgets that align with corporate objectives.
- Monitor and report on market conditions and competitive activities, providing informed recommendations for business development.
- Collaborate constructively with the Marketing Department to monitor promotional activities, propose new product developments (NPD), and manage budgets effectively.
- Develop Category Management Solutions to facilitate assortment, procurement, and gross margin optimizations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- 5-10 years of experience in Travel Retail, preferably in the Beauty sector.
- Nimble, proactive, and possessing high integrity.
- Strong interpersonal and motivational skills.
- Proven account management experience.
- Solid analytical and financial skills, particularly in relation to Excel at an advanced level.
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
- Strong presentation skills, particularly using Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Self-starter who takes pride in personal and company performance.
