This role is open to candidates with backgrounds in AI/Analytics or Data Engineering/Data Platforms. During the interview process, we will assess the best fit for you within one of these specialized subteams.

We also welcome applications from trainee candidates with limited work experience, as long as they are available for full-time work. After an initial 4-6 months in a trainee role, we will reassess readiness for a Business Analyst position.

For this role, we are currently offering start dates from February 2026.

How You Can Make an Impact

• Design and implement AI and data strategies, including data management, platforms, and AI use cases, that enable clients to achieve their business objectives across regulatory, cost, and revenue pillars.
• Provide architectural, technical, and organizational thought leadership to guide complex data and AI transformations with significant implications for the organization.
• Drive Data & AI use cases from initial concept through to production.
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships through project delivery and business development while expanding your internal and external network.
• Support business development opportunities to generate new projects.
• Be a role model by demonstrating strong work ethic, leadership, and subject matter expertise to those you work with.
• Continuously enhance your knowledge across industries and share insights with Deloitte talent.

Drive and Motivation:

• Strong drive to learn, master new topics, and manage multiple activities independently in a fast-paced environment.

Consulting and Communication Skills:

• Strong writing and Microsoft PowerPoint skills, with the ability to design meaningful presentations.
• Conceptual Capability: Ability to consolidate diverse requirements into coherent solution designs, simplifying complex problems.
• Business-IT Translator: Facilitate communication between business needs and technical solutions.
• Attention to detail and ability to communicate technical specifics clearly in both written and oral forms.

Technical Expertise:

• Practical experience with AI & analytics solutions is highly recommended.
• Familiarity with SQL and Python is an advantage.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and related services is a plus.
• Knowledge of data platform tools (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Dataiku) and data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) is preferred.
• A strong engineering or mathematics background is advantageous.

Language Proficiency:

• Fluent in English; fluency in German and/or French is highly preferred to facilitate communication with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Industry Experience:

• Relevant experience in consulting, tech companies, or industry-specific roles, particularly in AI & data-driven fields.
• Previous experience in the Banking, Insurance, Life Science, or Healthcare sector is advantageous.
