Position: Business Analyst

You will contribute to ensuring the reliability of financial and commercial data essential to the performance of our international operations. You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring analytical tools and reporting systems to support and optimize commercial negotiations. Additionally, you will liaise with the Finance departments during budgeting phases and communicate with all operational subsidiaries of the Lagardère group to collect commercial data and organize an international purchasing seminar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation for Commercial Negotiations:
    • Collect, consolidate, analyze, and share sales data with both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Produce reports necessary for performance tracking and business activity analysis.
    • Manage the Group’s new dynamic global sales tool.
    • Prepare tender documents.
  • Budgeting Phases Preparation:
    • Collect data from subsidiaries and verify its accuracy.
    • Analyze variances and root causes; develop bridges.
    • Communicate with Finance departments.
  • Seminar Management and Organization (200 persons):
    • Prepare presentations and content.
  • Cross-Functional Tasks:
    • Monitor overhead costs.
    • Track invoicing in collaboration with the administrative assistant.
    • Lead additional side projects.

Qualifications

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Data Management: Proficient in data collection, cleaning, consolidation, and visualization using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Reporting & Dashboarding: Experience in building and maintaining performance dashboards and automated reporting systems.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business processes, KPIs, and financial indicators to support strategic decision-making.
  • Problem Solving: Capacity to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to clearly present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Skilled in managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and precision in data handling and reporting.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international, and evolving environment.
  • English: Fluent.
