The SCD function encompasses four areas: Procurement, Supply Chain Planning, Logistics & Fulfilment, and Intralogistics. Job Description

This position will focus specifically on the Data, Analytics, and Automation area within the Logistics & Fulfilment capability. As a Business Analyst, you will support the exploration, definition, and management of business requirements while ensuring alignment with strategic goals and stakeholder expectations. You will represent the needs of the IKEA stakeholder community by capturing and effectively communicating user needs and validating developed solutions.

Your specific key tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Verifying and articulating business needs, ensuring alignment with IKEA's strategic vision.
  • Gathering, defining, documenting, and managing comprehensive business requirements.
  • Conducting detailed analysis to assess potential outcomes and impacts of proposed solutions.
  • Supporting planning activities to prioritize requirements effectively.
  • Collaborating closely with Digital Product Teams and the Digital Product Leader, translating complex business needs into clear digital product requirements.
  • Contributing to digital product development processes, including solution exploration, implementation, testing, and adoption.
  • Supporting change management by creating communication and educational materials to facilitate successful implementation and user adoption.
  • Continuously evaluating solutions post-implementation to ensure alignment with business objectives and stakeholder satisfaction.

In this role, you will report to the Competence Hub Development Manager within the SCD area of Logistics & Fulfilment Development.

Your proven experience and knowledge include:

  • Ability to understand the end-user's everyday life at work.
  • Strong skills in facilitating, planning, and managing workshops and activities.
  • Demonstrated experience in Business Analysis and requirements management.
  • Advanced analytical skills with a proven ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
  • Understanding of cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, Automation, and AI/ML frameworks.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end data analysis processes, from gathering requirements to presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with analytics tools, specifically Power BI and Databricks.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in English.
