The Capability Area Wholesale Finance within IKEA Supply AG is focused on ensuring that our global financial processes within the wholesale business are supported by advanced information technology, both today and in the future. We are looking to expand our Capability Area Wholesale Finance!

Job Description

As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders to clarify business needs, manage requirements, and evaluate solutions, driving business value in our rapidly growing initiatives and releases.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying potential improvements by eliciting, analyzing, challenging, and documenting all business needs.
  • Assessing the business consequences and risks associated with solution alternatives for processes, organization, tools, and information.
  • Ensuring the quality and traceability of stakeholder needs and business requirements, supporting the evaluation of solution alternatives.
  • Communicating and clarifying evolving business needs throughout the project or solution life cycle.
  • Defining and validating high-level and low-level designs in collaboration with architects and developers.
  • Reviewing test plans and test cases to ensure they comply with requirements; supporting the planning and execution of testing activities.
  • Securing and handing over requirement-related artifacts to the development and line organization.

We believe you possess:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in business analysis and modeling, along with a solid understanding of the requirements management process as outlined in BABOK and prior BA certification.
  • Experience in finance management processes, particularly in financial planning and budgeting.
  • Familiarity with SAAS-based EPM software and driver-based planning methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills, enabling you to see both the big picture and the finer details while structuring complex information.
  • Experience working within agile methodologies.
  • A keen interest in working in a global environment and a strong desire to understand the 'why' behind processes.
  • Knowledge of testing methods and tools, with a focus on acceptance testing, alongside an understanding of unit, system, and integration testing.
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders, understanding their needs and ensuring mutual comprehension.
  • The ability to act as a role model for IKEA values, demonstrating strong communication skills and building trustful relationships.
  • The adaptability to work in an environment where conditions may change rapidly.

Additionally, we believe you have:

  • A university degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience working with global and/or remote teams.
