The Laboratory of Regenerative and Muscle Biology at ETH Zurich, in collaboration with the Functional Genomics Center Zurich (FGCZ), is seeking a talented bioinformatician to work on omics data.
The Laboratory of Regenerative and Muscle Biology (RMB), led by Prof. Ori Bar-Nur, is a dynamic and multidisciplinary research group dedicated to translating fundamental research into therapeutically applicable treatments. With a focus on molecular and cellular biology, gene- and cell-based therapies, and tissue engineering, the lab employs cutting-edge multiomics tools to enhance our understanding of complex biological processes.
The FGCZ is a collaborative core facility of ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich, specializing in the latest omics technologies for biomolecular research and personalized medicine. The Genome Informatics group at FGCZ supports researchers with the analysis and interpretation of extensive datasets, particularly those arising from next-generation sequencing (NGS). Our team excels in raw data processing, high-performance computing, statistical evaluation, and integrated data analysis, all within a state-of-the-art, open-source software environment.
The bioinformatician will engage in a variety of fundamental and translational research projects within the RMB lab. This role requires collaboration with an international research team, fostering a spirit of motivation, scientific curiosity, and teamwork.
