The Laboratory of Regenerative and Muscle Biology at ETH Zurich, in collaboration with the Functional Genomics Center Zurich (FGCZ), is seeking a dedicated bioinformatician to engage in impactful omics data research.
Led by Prof. Ori Bar-Nur, the Laboratory of Regenerative and Muscle Biology (RMB) is a multidisciplinary team focused on translating fundamental research into therapeutically relevant treatments. The lab operates at the intersection of molecular and cellular biology, gene- and cell-based therapies, and tissue engineering. Utilizing multiomics tools, the RMB lab advances our understanding of vital biological processes.
The Functional Genomics Center Zurich (FGCZ) serves as a collaborative core facility for ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich. We are at the forefront of omics technologies applied to biomolecular research and personalized medicine. The FGCZ Genome Informatics group provides essential support to researchers, offering expertise in the analysis and interpretation of large-scale datasets, particularly next-generation sequencing (NGS) data.
The bioinformatician will play a crucial role in a range of basic and translational research projects within the RMB lab. This position necessitates close collaboration with a diverse international research team, requiring strong motivation and scientific curiosity.
