The Laboratory of Regenerative and Muscle Biology at ETH Zurich, in collaboration with the Functional Genomics Center Zurich (FGCZ), invites applications for a bioinformatician to work on omics data. This position represents an exciting opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary and collaborative group dedicated to translating basic research findings into therapeutically applicable treatments.
Led by Prof. Ori Bar-Nur, the Laboratory of Regenerative and Muscle Biology operates at the intersection of molecular and cellular biology, gene- and cell-based therapies, and tissue engineering. Our lab extensively employs multiomics tools in projects aimed at advancing the understanding of biological processes.
The FGCZ serves as a joint core facility of ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich, specializing in the application of cutting-edge omics technologies for biomolecular research and personalized medicine. The Genome Informatics group within the FGCZ supports researchers in the analysis and interpretation of large-scale datasets, particularly next-generation sequencing (NGS) data. Our team excels in raw data processing, high-performance computing, statistical evaluation, interpretation, and integrated analysis while maintaining an excellent open-source-based software environment.
The RMB Lab is located in the SLA building on the Schwerzenbach Campus of ETH Zurich, a world-leading institute.
