The successful applicant will encourage and support students in maximizing their learning opportunities, specifically teaching Sciences to Middle School Secondaire students. There is also the possibility of taking on the role of a homeroom advisor.
This position is available from August 13, 2026, on a full-time basis.
The ideal candidate must hold a relevant Science qualification along with a teaching qualification. A Master’s degree in a suitable area of pedagogy is preferred.
Successful experience in teaching in a Middle School setting, particularly to students whose first language may not be English, is required, ideally in an international school. Additionally, the ability to meet the needs of students with diagnosed learning differences in the classroom is essential. Experience as a homeroom advisor is an asset.
The candidate should have English as their mother tongue and possess the ability to effectively utilize educational technology to enhance learning outcomes. Building positive relationships with students is crucial; this should be balanced with firmness, empathy, and fairness. Strong organizational skills are necessary.
The ideal candidate should excel in teamwork, meet tight deadlines, and implement effective classroom differentiation strategies.
It is essential that the post holder is consistently aware of Child Protection guidelines and maintains a professional distance from students while fostering effective and caring relationships. A commitment to diversity and inclusion is a must, along with a strong stance against any form of discrimination. Background investigations and reference checks covering the past ten years will be conducted as part of the selection process.
