Job Responsibilities
As part of our team, you will be responsible for the following:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established standards and recipes.
- Deliver professional, friendly, and efficient service to guests, students, staff, and visitors.
- Ensure the bar and terrace are properly set up, clean, organized, and well-presented throughout operations.
- Support the planning and execution of special events, receptions, and tasting sessions.
- Assist restaurant operations as needed to ensure seamless guest service.
- Manage beverage and supply stock levels, report shortages or breakages, and contribute to inventory control activities.
- Receive, check, and store deliveries in line with established procedures.
- Support practical classes and training activities by assisting students and demonstrating professional hospitality standards.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient learning and working environment for students and colleagues.
- Comply with all hygiene, health, safety, and responsible alcohol service regulations, and report any equipment maintenance issues.
Profile and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experiences:
- Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Service, or a related field.
- Bartending certification or equivalent professional training.
- Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience in a hotel, restaurant, bar, or similar hospitality environment.
- Experience preparing cocktails, mocktails, coffees, and providing beverage service.
- Previous experience in hospitality education or training environments is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of cocktail preparation and beverage service standards.
- Good understanding of spirits, wines, beers, soft beverages, and coffee service.
- Fluent in English (both oral and written) and a good command of French.
- Flexibility to work evenings, special events, and other operational requirements.
