SOURGOOD is a charming local business, founded in Zurich in 2022, that specializes in a unique sourdough bakery rooted in Swedish family tradition. Conveniently located in Bridge, Europaallee—just two minutes from the main train station—we are proud to offer our delicious breads at selected organic stores throughout Zurich. As we expand our offerings, we are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our growing team.

Position: Bakery Assistant / Doer

This is an hourly position with a workload ranging from 20% to 60%. Please note that there will be no night or Sunday shifts, and the start date is flexible based on mutual agreement.

Responsibilities:

• Morning preparations for the sales display, starting around 6:30 a.m.
• Assisting with the baking of sourdough bread and other products
• Supporting various activities, including maintaining cleanliness and organization within the bakery, and managing ingredient deliveries
• Replenishing SOURGOOD breads, rolls, and other products on the shelves
• As a small start-up, be prepared for evolving tasks and responsibilities over time

Skills:

• Physically strong and capable of lifting 25 kg flour sacks—girl power is definitely welcome!
• A collaborative team player who can also work independently
• Determined and efficient in completing tasks
• Basic knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients is an asset
• A passion for interacting with customers, along with conversational German skills
• Ideal candidates will be food enthusiasts who value good nutrition and health
