SOURGOOD is a small local bakery, established in Zurich in 2022, specializing in sourdough bread inspired by Swedish family traditions. Our bakery, conveniently located in Bridge, Europaallee, is just a two-minute walk from the main train station. In addition to our bakery, our products are also available in select organic stores across Zurich. As we continue to grow and expand our product line, we invite you to be a part of our dedicated team.

Position Available: Bakery Assistant / Doer

We are seeking a Bakery Assistant / Doer, available on an hourly basis with a workload of 20-60%. Please note that there are no night or Sunday shifts. The start date is flexible and will be arranged by agreement.

Responsibilities

• Morning preparations for the sales display (starting approximately at 6:30 a.m.)
• Assisting in baking sourdough bread and other products
• Supporting various activities such as maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bakery
• Receiving and organizing ingredient deliveries
• Replenishing SOURGOOD breads, rolls, and other products on shelves at the Bridge location
• As a small start-up, tasks and responsibilities may evolve over time

Skills Required

• A physically strong individual, able to lift up to 25 kg (with a strong emphasis on teamwork!)
• A determined person who accomplishes tasks efficiently
• Basic knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients is a plus
• A customer-friendly demeanor, with some knowledge of German
• A passion for good nutrition and health, ideally as a 'foodie'
