Azure Cloud Security Engineer
Long-term programme - Rolling 3 month contracts | Fully Remote | Europe
RED Global is supporting a large-scale cloud security programme and is seeking an experienced, hands-on Azure Cloud Security Engineer to assist with security, governance, and compliance activities across a complex enterprise Azure environment.
Key Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Security
- Experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud / Azure Security Center
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel
- Experience implementing and managing Azure Policy
- Strong experience with Entra ID / Azure AD, RBAC, and identity security
- Good understanding of cloud security governance, GRC, and compliance
- Experience implementing security controls and policies within Azure environments
- Knowledge of Zero Trust security principles
- Experience with cloud risk assessments, security frameworks, and threat modeling
- Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Ability to collaborate closely with Cloud, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to embed security best practices
- Experience producing security, compliance, and audit documentation
- Previous experience within regulated or large-scale enterprise environments is beneficial
