We are seeking a proactive Azure Cloud Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud environments. Your structured approach to problem-solving and ability to quickly adapt to our two cloud platforms will be crucial. We are primarily responsible for the entire "Sovereign Cloud Switzerland" platform, which operates exclusively within Switzerland, alongside maintaining specific workloads in Deloitte's regional cloud. In your new role, you will actively participate in all phases of the lifecycle, ensuring optimal operations and further development, particularly focused on automation. You will also support the business in efficiently and productively implementing all future integrations of new applications, drawing from the extensive expertise of our global company.

How You Can Make an Impact

• Develop and manage the technical capabilities of our cloud operations team in Switzerland.
• Build and maintain the cloud platform while supporting multiple Azure solutions to meet business needs.
• Collect and exchange best-practice knowledge among our international cloud teams.
• Develop and maintain automation solutions to deploy platform and application workloads.
• Monitor and manage technical escalations for cloud operations and identify new tools and practices to enhance our cloud platform.

Who We Are Looking For

• You consistently demonstrate excellent communication skills, proactively reaching out when needed and leveraging your expertise to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.
• Your curiosity and adaptability to new technologies make you a fast learner who shares knowledge with team members.
• You hold certifications as an Azure Admin Associate (AZ-104) and Azure DevOps Expert (AZ-400); additional certifications in cloud architecture, system administration, or development are a valuable asset.
• Throughout your career, you have gained experience in automation and provisioning approaches, utilizing tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Bicep, Bash, PowerShell, Python, and C#.
• Your in-depth knowledge of configuring and managing Windows and Linux environments, along with experience in infrastructure (databases, Active Directory, DNS, firewalls, networking) in Azure and on-premises data centers, will be advantageous.
• You are knowledgeable about agile software development tools and methodologies.
