AWS Data Engineering Consultant | Knutsford (Hybrid)
RED is excited to announce a new contract opportunity for an AWS Data Engineering Consultant to collaborate with one of our key partners on a strategic Cloud Data Platform & Analytics Programme. This contract position is set to start as soon as possible and offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring 2-3 days of onsite presence in Knutsford, UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage strong hands-on experience with AWS data services, including S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, EMR, and DynamoDB.
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot enterprise-scale data pipelines.
- Utilize advanced expertise in ETL/ELT frameworks and data integration solutions.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in programming languages and tools such as Python, SQL, Spark, or PySpark.
- Review code and resolve issues in distributed data processing environments.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
- Possess a strong understanding of data modeling, metadata management, data quality, and cloud data architectures.
- Experience with vector databases and AI-driven data solutions is highly desirable.
- Exhibit excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
