Position: Avionics Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Capture and analyze system requirements, assessing feasibility and contributing to early system architecture and concept definition.
- Coordinate the design, development, integration, verification, and certification of complex avionics systems.
- Support system integration activities and ensure compliance with applicable aviation regulations.
- Prepare and review system requirements documentation and certification engineering reports.
- Perform and review System Safety Assessments, including Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA) and related safety studies.
- Interface with external suppliers, customers, procurement teams, and certification authorities on technical matters.
- Contribute to technology development and innovation initiatives within avionics programs.
- Provide engineering support to production, integration, and customer support teams as necessary.
Our Ideal Candidate Should Have
- University Degree in Electronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in aerospace or other safety-critical industries focused on systems engineering and avionics development.
- Proven experience in the design and development of integrated avionics systems.
- Experience in military aviation environments is considered advantageous.
- Knowledge of tactical communication systems, datalink technologies (e.g., Link 16), and radar systems is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with avionics systems such as EFIS, FMS, or Flight Control Systems (FCS).
- Exposure to Electronic Warfare (EW), Electronic Countermeasure (ECM), or weapon system integration is beneficial.
- Working knowledge of FAA, EASA, or military aviation certification frameworks.
- Fluent in English (C1); proficiency in German is considered an advantage.
