At PAVE Space, we are on the brink of an exciting milestone: our first rocket engine test bench is set to be operational by the end of the year. However, the electrical infrastructure that will support this groundbreaking project is still to be constructed, and we need your expertise to bring it to life.
PAVE Space is developing LYOBA, a heavy kick stage designed to transport payloads of up to 4 tons from Low Earth Orbit (LEO) to high-energy orbits in less than 24 hours. We are looking for someone ready to take on the challenge of building essential electrical systems from the ground up.

We're on a tight timeline to commission our first rocket engine test bench. Our propulsion engineers have the test logic in place; what they require is a robust electrical infrastructure that includes cabinets, sensors, and wiring—all meticulously designed for longevity and reliability. As part of our team, you will take the lead in transforming empty panels into a fully operational test facility.
Your Responsibilities
- Designing, assembling, and wiring electrical cabinets from scratch for engine test benches.
- Integrating sensors and actuators: installation, wiring, and verification of industrial instrumentation.
- Establishing electrical infrastructure across the test site and workshop, ensuring it is safe, clean, and easy to maintain.
- Drawing and implementing electrical schematics, guaranteeing that the layout matches the execution on the bench.
- Supporting the installation of data acquisition hardware in collaboration with propulsion and test engineers.
Qualifications
- A CFC in automation, electrical engineering, or an equivalent qualification (4-year apprenticeship for Swiss candidates; equivalent experience for international candidates).
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in building wiring cabinets, control panels, and electrical infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience in selecting and operating industrial sensors, actuators, and data acquisition hardware.
- A strong ability to draw, interpret, and implement electrical schematics and wiring diagrams fluently.
- Comfortable working in dynamic test site and workshop environments.
- Fluent in English (our primary working language).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with E-plan, PLC programming, or HMI/GUI development.
- Familiarity with aerospace or high-reliability testing environments.
- Proficiency in the French language.

Before You Apply
The role is split between our workshop in Villeneuve (VD) and our test site in Chavalon, which is approximately 20 minutes away. Both locations require on-site presence every day. You will be joining an existing team, not working in isolation, but you will be helping to build this infrastructure from the ground up. This is a hands-on role where your contributions will directly impact every engine test we perform.
