Your Responsibilities
- Coordinate developments and perform modifications in the control system logic of our gas turbines.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade control system hardware (system processors, I/O cards, and networks).
- Provide assistance and troubleshooting guidelines to plant operations and maintenance teams.
- Support and supervise suppliers during project execution.
- Specify and conduct factory acceptance tests.
- Take action to resolve Process Control issues and create project-specific technical input for other service teams.
- Edit manuals, test procedures, and reports.
- Ensure that all work is performed according to EHS standards.
Your Profile
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- Required knowledge of principles and methods used in Process Control.
- Experience in control system programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
- Preferred knowledge of ABB lnfi90 / Symphony+, Siemens TXP/T3000, Emerson Ovation, ABB Advant (Egatrol/Turbotrol), ALSPA (Controgas/Controsteam).
- Preferred expertise in I&C loop and bus network design.
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink is a plus.
- Able to analyze information, draw conclusions, and resolve Process Control-related issues.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% globally.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluency in Italian and English; knowledge of German and/or French is advantageous.
- Strong commitment to delivering quality work within time and cost targets.
