Join Our Team as an Automation & Control System Engineer

We utilize our own technology and independent design, production, construction, commissioning, and service resources.
We are currently looking to strengthen our team in Switzerland (Baden) with your expertise and experience as an Automation & Control System Engineer.
Role Overview
The Automation & Control System Engineer is responsible for managing control system-related projects while providing analysis and technical support for service contracts and product upgrades, leveraging a broad knowledge of our gas turbines.
Your Tasks
- Coordinate developments and perform modifications in control system logic of our gas turbines.
- Maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade control system hardware (system processors, I/O cards, and networks).
- Provide assistance and troubleshooting guidelines to plant operations and maintenance teams.
- Support and supervise suppliers during project execution.
- Specify and conduct factory acceptance tests.
- Address and resolve Process Control issues.
- Create and provide project-specific technical input for other service teams.
- Edit manuals, test procedures, and reports.
- Ensure that all work is performed according to EHS standards.
Your Profile
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- Knowledge of principles and methods used in Process Control - required.
- Experience in control system programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning - required.
- Familiarity with ABB Infi90/Symphony+, Siemens TXP/T3000, Emerson Ovation, ABB Advant (Egatrol/Turbotrol), ALSPA (Controgas/Controsteam) - preferred.
- Expertise in I&C loop and bus network design - preferred.
- Experience with Matlab/Simulink - preferred.
- Able to analyze information, draw conclusions, and take action to resolve Process Control-related issues - required.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% globally.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - preferred.
- Fluent in Italian and English; proficiency in German and/or French is advantageous.
- Strong commitment to delivering quality results on time and within budget.
