Scope of Work

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Defining technical requirements for control system hardware and electrical power sub-distribution apparatus for gas turbines and their auxiliary systems.
  • Determining control system and bus network architectures.
  • Designing electrical power sub-distribution panels.
  • Specifying appropriate instrumentation solutions for temperature, pressure, level, measurement of mass/volume flow, and fuel gas composition.
  • Designing I&C and low voltage power loops, including sensors, cabling & shielding, and junction boxes for field instrumentation, drives, and actuators.
  • Specifying and configuring dedicated monitoring systems and associated sensors for supervision of bearings vibration, combustor flame, pulsations, and shaft speed, and integrating them within the gas turbine control system.
  • Customizing automation and control system scopes according to client requirements.
  • Preparing technical purchase specifications.
  • Monitoring suppliers to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Accompanying factory acceptance tests.
  • Supporting site erection and commissioning activities, as well as handover to after-sales service.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in Electrical/Automation Engineering.
  • Professional experience in the design and project execution of automation systems in the field of power or process plant engineering.
  • Familiarity with relevant design directives, codes, and standards, including LV Directive (2014/35/EU), LV switchgears (IEC 61439), EMC Directive (2014/30/EU), and Explosive Atmospheres (IEC 60079). Experience in Functional Safety (IEC 61508) would be an asset.
  • A good working knowledge of engineering tools for electrical and process automation, preferably EPLAN.
  • A strong commitment to delivering according to quality, time, and cost targets.
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills.
  • A collaborative team spirit.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in German is advantageous, and further knowledge of Italian would be an asset.
