Job Description

The role involves:

  • Independent troubleshooting and resolution of issues, as well as repairs (1st Level Support) on highly automated, integrated manufacturing systems.
  • Time- and condition-dependent maintenance, servicing, and inspection of plants and plant components.
  • Calibration of plants and plant components, along with the implementation of suitable quality controls in the manufacturing processes.
  • Optimization and improvement of systems, robotics, and process flows in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Ensuring comprehensive communication and documentation of work to secure throughput and maintain consistent manufacturing quality.

What We Expect

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Completed vocational training (EFZ) as an automation technician, electronics technician, or polymechanic, including fundamental training in electrical engineering.
  • Experience in maintenance and/or automation.
  • Essential knowledge of control technology, pneumatics, and robot programming; certified training in robotics is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the capability to act in a structured manner during system failures, even under stress and within deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and social competence with the ability to engage effectively at various competency levels.
  • Willingness to work in continuous operations, including weekends.
  • Fluency in German (at least C1) and knowledge of English (B1).
